About

We have twenty+ years experience teaching Arabic using a field proven method.

We teach the Arabic language in both its spoken and written forms in the Bryan-College Station, Texas area and via Skype.

Tom was raised in Hempstead, Texas, and attended Texas A&M. God gave him a heart to serve in the Middle East and it was in Jordan that he met and married Mary. Mary grew up in Jordan and was originally teaching in an Arabic language school when she met Tom. Mary had taught the Arabic language in the school in Jordan for over 20 years. She has brought the time-tested methods that she used to teach while living in the Middle East, to students in the United States through live lessons, in person, or via Skype. She has been teaching Arabic in Bryan-College Station since 2003.

Here's a little more about the class...

The curriculum for spoken Arabic is divided into two parts: pronunciation and conversation.

  • In pronunciation, the student learns to produce the unique sounds of Arabic in the authentic way used by native speakers.

  • The conversation books teach the student a large assortment of greetings and conversation patterns native speakers use every day.

Learning the unique sounds and conversation patterns of Arabic allows the learner to fit the normal situation in which he may find himself among Arab speakers anywhere in the world.

*NOTE*  The spoken curriculum does not require the student to read the Arabic script, but represents the unique sounds of Arabic letters using English letters. Once the student finishes the pronunciation book, he can begin to study the Arabic script.

The curriculum for written Arabic builds upon the skills learned in conversation classes. It further unveils the language as the student learns to read and write the actual letters of the Arabic language.
